Document Library Web Solution
The AHOY.COM Document Library Web Solution makes it easy to share files either privately on your organization's Intranet Web site, or publicly on your Internet Web site. The Document Library is a searchable repository of documents that can be accessed, browsed and downloaded. Numerous file types are supported, including Microsoft™ Word™ files, Excel™ spreadsheets, PowerPoint™ presentations, Adobe™ Acrobat files, and select media files. Documents can be browsed by category or searched by keyword.

Like all AHOY.COM solutions, the Document Library pages are integrated seamlessly into any new or existing Web site design and are built to evolve in unison with the rest of the Web site. The Document Library files and descriptive information can be managed from any Web browser connected to the Internet.

Accessing Documents in the Library
  • Documents can be retrieved by category, document type and keyword search.
  • A keyword search of document contents can be performed on the following file types: .pdf, .htm, .html and .txt
  • Perform a title and description keyword search for all file types.
  • A document's title links to a pop-up window that displays the document title, description, publish date, author, source, document type, and a link to the actual document.
Managing Documents in the Library
  • Documents are uploaded to the Document Library from a Web-based administration interface.
  • Descriptive information about each document can be saved in the database including: description, publish date, author, source, category and document type.
  • Categories can be created so that you can organize documents by project, topic, audience, etc.
  • Documents in a category can be organized into logical groups referred to a 'types' of documents.
  • The Document Library can be managed from any Web browser connected to the internet.
Standard Customization
  • Your logo image can be displayed in the upper left hand corner of Document Library Web pages.
  • Choose any font color for text and navigation.
Enhanced Customization
  • All Document Library Web pages are template based, enabling us to alter the appearance and layout of the pages to a client's specific needs.
