A manufacturer product search and manufacturer directory were created and combined to create the Marine Electronics Journal Buyer’s Guide. The online Buyer's Guide was constructed to assist marine buyers in locating specific marine electronic equipment and manufacturer contact information. Management of the Buer's Guide content is handled through the use of a password-protected, Web-based maintenance interface.

A Buying Tips database was also created enabling viewers to view Buying Tips from the Marine Electronics Journal Web site. Buying tips are easily managed from a Web-based, password-protected maintenance page. Visitors to the Web site see a list of tems by date, from which they can select and view detailed information about individual items.
