University Health Plans (UHP) provides insurance solutions to Colleges and Universities. When one of their clients asked UHP to figure out a way to reduce the lag-time between submission of an insurance waiver request and tuition credit for approved applicants, they turned to us for help.

We developed a secure application that captures, stores and processes insurance waiver applications online. The application employs client-server certificate authentication techniques to guarantee that only authorized users are granted access to the waiver forms. We also created a password-protected administration interface through which an administrator views and processes the completed insurance waiver forms online. Approved waiver information is encrypted and transmitted daily via FTP to the accounting department so credits can be processed efficiently.
