Visitors to Avant Garden's Web site can sign up to receive periodic email newsletters by filling out a simple subscription form on the Web site. We also added an option enabling customers to subscribe when he or she places an order on Avant Garden's eCatalog. When Avant Gardens is ready to send email to the subscriber database we use a customized Email Campaign management application to handle the entire process from preparing the HTML and text versions of the message to tracking and reporting results.
